When are the WhatsApp reminders sent?
Reminder timings depend on your plan:
On the Free and Starter plans, reminders are sent 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment.
On higher-tier plans like Plus, Growth, and Enterprise, reminder timings are fully customizable. You can choose any interval that suits your business—such as 3 days before or 30 minutes before.
This flexibility ensures your clients get notified at the right time to reduce no-shows and increase engagement.
Is WhatSawa using the official WhatsApp API?
Yes. WhatSawa Reminders is powered by the official WhatsApp Business API and we are proud to be a Meta Tech Partner.
How are reminders counted in my plan?
Each reminder sent is counted individually. So, if your workflow includes:
1 reminder 24 hours before
1 reminder 1 hour before
And 1 post-appointment message
That would count as 3 reminders for a single appointment.
Higher-tier plans allow you to customize the number and timing of reminders. You can also disable certain reminder steps to optimize usage and stay within your monthly quota.
